VerdEnergia Pacifica is proud to work in partnership with its sister company, Blacksheep Regenerative Resource Management. As the birthplace of Blacksheep, VerdEnergia is Blacksheep’s premier reforestation project and is pivotal as the central hub for its operations in the Puriscal area.

With the support of Blacksheep, our neighbors, and our community, we are growing the highest quality regenerative organic rainforest crops. What’s the difference in our process? We understand that healthy food starts with healthy soil. We utilize agroforestry, syntropic agriculture and the principles of permaculture as central tenants of our designs. All of our crops are small pieces of a larger, successive plan that works in stages to reforest our watershed.

VerdEnergia Pacifica, like all Blacksheep projects, is beyond “sustainable” – we’re regenerative. What’s “regenerative?” Restoring our local watershed, regenerating topsoil, expanding wildlife corridors and protecting biodiversity. Providing steady employment, fair wages and vested ownership for our neighbors. As farmers and as neighbors in our community, we’re proud to be the first step of a regenerative supply chain.
